CH-CH-CH-CHANGES

Icefjord was awesome, freakin cold and crazy snow but that didn't stop me from partying like a rockstar, very fitting since it was a rockfestival... Loved it!! We went there on this bitchin van, 11 great people and the best driver in the world, Geiri got us there safe and sound and back home through rouch weather and icy roads.

meet up with this Vestfjord viking there in the snow

After that trip I went for school for two days, happy as a clam and then decidet I'd have to go to Denmark and check out my new school, apartment and jobs for the summer so on friday I went to Kbh for another crazy weekend,,, saw the apartment in Norrebro (nice location) got a job (nice location) and saw my school in Östergade (Strikid) LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... Gottalovit!!! So now just hoping this crazy volcano of ours chills for a bit cause I'm planning my moving there after my graduation in may. Last weekend it was Jolene for the best party, Christiania for the best falafel, hang out @ Salonen and the Cafe Retro wich is the cosyest coffee house I've been in, close to my school and my new faw, serves popcorn in a bowl. How cute :)

HOT AS HELL

Easterbunny around the corner... Last time I was about to party hard at RFF, wich was a great success (the partying and the event it self) got a goooood share of eyecandy while sitting by the runway watching all the beautifull clothes walk by for hours and loved it, while the guy next to me seemed to be there to check out the models and got kinda bored :) model overdose maybe??
But seriously, great shows and the afterpartys were rockin' too!!!
GusGus guys are always hot and Peaches made us pee our pants she was so freakin' awesome! Usually I don't really care for celebs but I got totally starstruck meeting her backstage,, haha "híjámig"
this is from her concerts here in ICE

---JESUS WALKED ON WATER, PEACHES WALKS ON YOU---

and this is a photo of us Kristín at RFF shows on saturday, totally hung over from all the fashionpartyconcertfun from days before but the last night is always the best and I'm wearing a leather dress by the talented Icelandic Designer Selma Ragnars and Necklages by Varius Iceland. Kristín is wearing a very hot black string vest by EY and a lace dress....

Great weekend, great shows, great people to share the fun!!
Might say it was magical because this saturday night the volcanic eruption startet in the glacier Eyjafjallajökull, saw this photo on the internet, INSANE STUFF!!!

Haven't made it there yet to take a look but it seems to be the hottest spot in Iceland right now.
But I did go te a premier off the movie Kóngavegur, an honest and funny Icelandic movie. Everybody should go see it and support the Icelandic film industry.

Next up is pimping my new studio and going to Aldrei fór ég suður, rock festival in the Vestfjord http://aldrei.is though it's just a small town, population about 3-4000, locals there call the place "the rock city of Iceland" so I'll keep on rocking up the vest coast ;) haha, wearing wool sweater and socks with beer in my backpack!! Never even been there but it sounds like a hell of a cold place this ICEFJORD in ICELAND damn... Maybe I'll meat mr. Polarbear ;) we'll see..

RFF FASHION AND PARTY ALERT!!!

------SUCKINONMYTITTIES-------

Just got back from an awesom trip to London. Next up is Reykjavik Fashion Festival, first time in Iceland... My two loves FASHION AND MUSIC, the schedule is sexy and I'm very excited for this weekend, gallery openings, designers march, concerts and RFF - this event will make us Icelandic designers proud and happy to be from this small but trendy island. Not like IFW wich has been ruinning our reputation and when participating in IFW last september I was mortified and that's why we, designers and staff, took things in our own hands like I wrote about in older posts. But I made new friends from all over the world though. Great rebels, looking forward to a "rebel reunion show" someday.

Hopefully RFF is going to be as successfull event as it looks and I look forward to seeing the shows, some new designers on the list and also names we've known for years. Another awesom weekend ahead,,, march is HOT

Mirror mirror on the wall

I love mirror photos

I'd say Freja Beha is one of the fairest of them all

Here is a mirror photo of another woman who would fit that category, my beautiful friend Ýr getting ready to go dancing with us girls and another of us both getting ready for a Magical new years party (copyright Anthony Bacigalupo)

Looking forward to dance the night away with her and my girls tonight @ Ella's birthday party in our much loved Reykjavik and also to next weekend, we'll be clubbing and Strutting the streets of London city

A dark romantic

EY predicted a dark summer but yesterday was one of the darkest days in the world of fashion. Dark star of international fashion Lee Alexander McQueen left us. Sad not being able to see what genious work he would have made next. But this man was clearly an icon and made a mark on fashion history,,,,

his name will live on. RIP McQueen ♥

The secret about my kEYp addiction

A few years back I got a really great christmas present from my grandma, it was a hand knitted cape, I wore it all the time and I still do. It's simple and sweet, kinda hippy and I wanted to make something similar, but a little more classy/dressy, cause I liked it so much. Ended up being alot different though. I Sat down with my scetch book thinking how I would like to wear my cape. I wanted colour but black is always classic, I wanted it to be big and comfy but still didn't want to loose my waist, I wanted it to be warm and I wanted to be able to choose from different things every time I wore it..
this is what I got.
The cape is wonderfull and suits everything, the cut and the colour. Black on one side, colour of a choice on the other. The one with the hood can be with a bow, you can tie it so it shows colour or not. It can be used as a scarf or just simply tie it or have it loose over the sholders. I've been addicted to mine ever since I made the first one, you get two gorgeous garments in one and can play a little with it. And in it ;) The one with the collar is similar, you can flip it to change colours and you can wear the collar like a scarf. You decide how much you want the other side to show.
I've been making my capes for some time now and still it's the most used piece in my closet. People can still order and also the leggins but everything I make is very limited edition.
spring is around the corner so new stuff is on the table, but the cape has no expire date!! So more to come very soon and more photos can be found on EY's fansite under "EY DESIGN"
